The “Arabian Horse” breed has a very distinguished face and head. It has large eyes and nostrils and a small muzzle.

Arabian horses are a very kind-hearted and a loving horse, but they also have high energy.  For this reason, they are often used by younger adults in equine sports. They are oftenly used in therapeutic programs.

In the 1700’s, the Arabian Horses were imported from Europe.  Originally, the Arabian Horse Breed was from the Middle East. They usually stand between 14 and 15 hands tall. They come in a variety of colors with grey and brown being popular.

There is an association called “Arabian Horse Association” (AHA). It host 37,000 members. It is a full service breed association and registry for Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses.  You can visit the association at Arabian Horse Association.
